For more than a quarter century, The Fairfield Community Center has helped to meet the ever-changing needs of area residents, and enrich the lives of rural families throughout Franklin County.

THE FAIRFIELD FOOD SHELF helps 

feed individuals and families in Franklin County. We're open every Tuesday from 1:30 - 5 p.m, and on the 2nd Friday of each month from 10-Noon. Please wear a mask inside the building.  

We also distribute READY-TO-HEAT meals on Tuesdays from 1:30-3. Please call and leave a message with your name and phone number for Megan if you'd like to pick up these meals. They're free but a donation of $5.00 is greatly appreciated.

KIDS ARE FRONT AND CENTER at The Fairfield Community Center! We offer programs full of fun, adventure and healthy learning opportunities:

 

  • February and April vacation camps

  • Kids in the Kitchen winter cooking classes

  • Black Creek Adventure Camp; 6 weeks of summer camp, June 27 to August 5th. Scholarships are available for our youth programs at the Community Center.

  • We're nearing full capacity, so call to find out about openings.

 

Part of the Maple Run Early Childhood Program resides at the Center too! You can visit their website HERE.

THE COMMUNITY CENTER provides opportunities throughout the year for friends and neighbors to gather and socialize. These may include:

  • Wood-fired pizza & music nights

  • The annual Jig in the Valley, now in its 30th year! (This year on July 31st, noon to dusk.

  • Chef-prepared TAKE-OUT suppers.

  • Weekly in-person Community Meals (currently on hold due to Covid)

  • Game nights

  • Holiday festivities & winter adventures!
