How far we’ve come.
After a summer with no Jig In the Valley (and over a year with little human interaction), social events are slowly returning, and the Fairfield Community Center’s annual festival fundraiser is no exception.
The Jig In the Valley is set for Sunday, July 25, 2021 on the East Fairfield green, from noon to dusk. Tickets are $10/person and $25/family. Admission benefits the programs of the Fairfield Community Center.
A variety of talent is set to take the stage for the 29th Jig. Musicians slated to perform include Dale and Darcy, The Missisquoi River Band, Rusty Bucket, The Nobby Reed Project, The Oleo Romeo’s Big Ass Variety Show, and Christine & The Beautiful People. (Take a look below to check out some of the talent that will be on hand.)
The Jig In the Valley has always been about more than music, though, and this year’s return to form is no exception.
Lovers of food can expect to find grilled chicken, wood-fired pizza, hot dogs, hamburgers, the famous pie table, and as always, free green salad and much more.
Bargain hunters should check out the Jig’s flea market/yard sale.
There will also be a 50/50 raffle and a silent auction.
Kid-friendly activities are available for our younger festival-goers.
In the event of rainy weather, performances will take place in the Meeting House On the Green.
Attendees are encouraged to bring their own seating and to please be mindful of others as we readjust to spending time with each other.
